What it does
Always there, never in your way.
A lightweight app for Mac and Windows that runs in the background and takes care of your meetings.
It runs quietly in the background, from the menu bar on Mac or the system tray on Windows.
Using your calendar and your microphone, it detects a meeting as it starts and records it, or offers to.
Your Google or Outlook calendar inside the app, with a button to record each meeting.
A small floating widget to pause or stop the recording.
The recording goes to your Noota workspace: find all your meetings and reports, just like on the web.
The same features as the web meeting assistant, without keeping a browser tab open.

No bot, and live.
On a Pro, Business or Enterprise plan, the desktop app goes further during the call.
On the Free plan, the app records your meetings with the Noota bot.
Recording without a bot
No bot joins the call: Noota records from your computer. Participants are informed that the meeting is recorded.

The transcript appears in the app during the meeting.

Is the desktop app free?
Yes. It is included in every plan, Free included. On the Free plan, Noota records your meetings with its bot; recording without a bot, live transcription and live Ask Noota start with the Pro plan.
Which computers does it run on?
Mac, with Apple silicon (M1 or later) or Intel, on macOS 12 or later, and Windows. The download page picks the right version for you.
How do I install it?
Download it, open the file from your Downloads folder and follow the steps. Then sign in with your Noota account: email and password, or Google and Microsoft.
Do participants know they are being recorded?
Yes. With recording without a bot, participants are informed that the meeting is recorded.
Where do my recordings go?
To your Noota workspace, with the transcript and the report, like meetings recorded from the web. Data is hosted in Europe.
