In which apps does Noota voice dictation work?
In any app where you can type: Gmail and Outlook, Google Docs and Notion, Slack and Teams, your CRM or ATS, your browser. Noota Desktop listens when you hold the shortcut and writes the text where your cursor is. On mobile, the Noota app does the same in any text field.
How do I start dictating?
Install Noota Desktop. A small Noota widget appears next to your cursor wherever you can type. Hold the fn key while you speak and release when you are done: the whole formatted text appears at once. Nothing else to open, no window to switch to.
Does Noota transcribe word for word, or does it clean up?
It cleans up. Filler words, hesitations, repeats and false starts are removed, punctuation and paragraphs are added, capital letters are placed. You get the sentence you meant, not a raw transcript. Names and technical terms from your custom vocabulary are kept as you spell them.
What does “rewrite anything by voice” mean?
Select any text, in any app, hold fn and say what you want: make it shorter, more formal, translate it to English, turn it into a bullet list. Noota rewrites the selection in place.
Which languages can I dictate in?
More than fifty languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch. The language is detected automatically, and you can switch from one to another inside the same dictation.
Is my voice stored?
Audio is processed to produce the text and is not kept. Your dictations are never used to train AI models, and processing runs on European infrastructure like the rest of Noota.
